I like these photos because I think the reflections of the building looks good because it captures two buildings, but still looks like one. Even though his work doesn't directly show journeys I am still able to use his work and show in in other artists work.
Barry Toranto
I like Barry Toranto's work because in some of his photos it looks like he is combining two different photos into one, but they are just reflections in shop windows and café windows. I also like the use of bright colours, and for my own photos I am going to get inspiration from the way he gets reflections in shop windows but captures so much of everyday life.
Lee Friedlander
Lee Friedlander looks at cities and busy public places to capture life as it happens. He then puts all of his work into black and white which I like because it takes the chaos out of the originsl photos, but it also lets the viewer see the main features of the photo, the photos being in black and white also give it an older look. I think he shows the journey by simply showing people in their everyday life.
